Since then, my playing has taken me on tours around the UK & Ireland, allowed me to meet heroes and build social connections with other talented musicians.

Before returning to Derry in the Summer of 2022, I was studying and performing in Liverpool. Over the last few years, I’ve honed my skills as a guitarist and bassist, which afforded me the opportunity to play venues and festivals across England with high-profile artists. 

Being fresh out of University, I am passionate about passing on the knowledge and tools I’ve acquired to my students. Putting fun first, my sessions emphasise that learning isn’t as simple as right or wrong. I draw on my students’ own personal interests as a platform for development, focussing on breaking down their individual challenges. I use music as a tool to help them overcome their fears and insecurities. It's incredible to witness their growth and see them develop resilience and determination along the way.

There is a famous trope among guitarists which is that the most difficult thing you can sound like as a musician is yourself. That is the goal I set to achieve with my students. I aim to help them find their unique voice and afford them the skills they need to express themselves.
